The WC-6 , WC-42, and WC-9 are our most popular Yokes in the EU. The AC Yokes provide the most convenient safety to operators. The Cordless Yoke provides the best mobility, for an Inspector or the NDT Technician.
WC-9
Inspectors will usually only use a Yoke one or two times (maybe an hour) per day whereas an NDE Technician will use an MPI Yoke for a full day. In casual operation, the inspector should only need to charge the Yoke every 3-4 days, while the technician will need to charge every night. The Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries are fully charged in 4-5 hours, and with the smart charger are good for thousands of charging cycles.
WC-6
The WC-6 is the safest AC Yoke in the industry, due to its design, construction, and quality. The Activation switch is sealed, grounded, and only conducts ½ Watt, while switching the full electrical load is done by a solid state switching Module. The Power Cord and Strain Relief are the safest in the industry, Resisting Mechanical Pull and having superior Strain Relief to resist damage.
WC-42
The WC-42 is a popular AC Yoke in the EU, as power tools in wet and hazardous areas are fed by 42 Volt Power Supplies, which is far safer than domestic voltages. This safety is accomplished in North America where domestic 115 Volt outlets are protected with Ground Fault Interrupters.
